Ofsted Reports for Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School

The 2004 inspection was carried out by an inspection contractor and does not use the current grading system. For subsequent inspections the gradings lead to the following assessment:

The 2008 inspection report describes the school as good with outstanding aspects to its work, good teaching and a first-rate curriculum. The report notes that parents held very positive views about the school and most were extremely pleased with the care and education provided. The report describes good leadership and management as key factors contributing to the school's success. One area for improvement was ensuring that all lessons are suitably challenging.

The 2011 inspection was an interim inspection which confirmed the previous findings.

The 2013 inspection report describes the school as extremely welcoming and exceptionally effective, with school leaders and governors setting the highest expectations. The school was found to be outstanding in all areas, with very high standands in maths and English. The area for improvement was to ensure that a higher proportion of teaching became outstanding.
